How much to charge for my Channel Banner?

I am a YouTube partner. I want to sell my Channel’s banner as link to a sponsor. If anyone clicks on it’s image, they get transported to the sponsor’s site.

Is this breaking any Youtube rules & more importantly ,
how much should I charge the sponsor for a monthly display rate?

I would think this would be a breach of your contract with YouTube. More importantly, do you have the expertise and administrative access to modify the HTML code that YouTube uses to make a link, as you described, feasible? I would think you do not have such tools at your disposal.
