How to Choose Custom Vinyl Banners
Vinyl banners are more commonly used for events. If there is no stage background created, a banner may be used. Big events like birthdays and company gatherings almost always require a big banner.
When you’re considering ordering or making custom vinyl banners, you can use the following tips.
Color Specifications
The ideal background for a birthday banner is the color that defines the event. If it’s a company event, the colors of the company should be used. If the party is on Valentines’ day, the color of the banner should be pink or red. The same goes for Christmas banners, which contain red and green elements. Halloween themed banners will most likely include autumn colors like black, red, orange and brown. Pastel colors are used for Easter banners. If you’re hard up choosing the colors for your banners, you can always revert to the colors that the event signifies. The colors of the banner serve as secondary accessories in a party.
For birthday banners, choosing colors is easier because you can simply use the favorite color of the celebrant. This is true for surprise parties that need a particular motif. If you have two preferred colors, set the first as background color and the other as border color.
Images in the Banner
Image elements in banners make good eye candy. It really depends on what you need the banner for. If you’re using a personal photo, make sure that it’s the best you can find. Make sure that the image quality is great to begin with so that it will render nicely on the banner.
Choose extremely high definition photos for your banner. Choose a photo that is not grainy. Art elements are best for kids birthdays.
Width x Length of the Banner
A small banner is appropriate for small venues like in restaurants. A small banner is three by six feet. This is a standard sized banner meant for a small signage.
Big banners that measure ten feet tall are great if you want people to see the sign from afar. Banners that are ten feet tall are great for this purpose.
